1. License Grant

LightmonkeyHDR grants you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to use the software according to your purchased tier. Your tier is determined by your (or your company's) total annual revenue:

You must purchase the tier that matches your revenue band. Using a lower tier than your revenue requires is a breach of these terms.

Each tier is available as either an Annual license or a Perpetual license:

Machine activation and transfer. A single seat may be registered on up to two of your machines, with one machine active at a time. If a machine is replaced or fails, you may transfer your license to a new machine yourself, up to two times per rolling 12-month period. Additional transfers can be requested by contacting support.

The software and all copies remain the property of LightmonkeyHDR. Your license does not grant ownership of the software, only the right to use it.

4. Updates

Update entitlement depends on your license type. A Perpetual license includes all 1.x updates to the version you purchased, at no additional cost, for as long as the 1.x series is maintained. An Annual license includes all updates released while your subscription is active. A future major version (for example, LightMonkey 2) is a separate product and is not included in either license.

Support is provided via email at hello@lightmonkey.app. Priority support is available for Studio and Enterprise licenses.

6. Payment, Billing & Refunds

Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, acting as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, applicable taxes (including VAT), invoicing, and subscription management on our behalf; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

Your license key and access are delivered digitally and immediately after purchase. We offer a 14-day refund period from the date of purchase where required or where the software does not meet your requirements; where you consent to immediate delivery of the digital license at checkout, any statutory right of withdrawal may end upon that delivery to the extent permitted by law. Annual licenses can be cancelled at any time through the customer portal provided by Paddle; cancellation stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the paid period. 7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall LightmonkeyHDR be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the software.

9. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate any of these terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the software.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Darmstadt, Germany.
